Sequel to his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), former governor of Edo State, Professor Oserheimen Osunbor has dropped his position as Chairman of Nigerian Law Reform Commission.
Last week Osunbor was formally adopted into the APC by Governor Adams Oshiomhole along with over 2,000 of his supporters.
In his resignation letter, which took effect from 31 March 2015, Osunbor said he quit due to personal reasons. However, this may not be unconnected with his switch from PDP to APC, the latter which benefited from his action by winning 21 out of 24 seats in Edo State House of Assembly during the April 11 polls.
